First; I used the search button, but nothing turned up on this subject.
Although I have the feeling that I'm not the first person to ask this question.
Anyway, what's the connection between the band/music Pantera and
the game Blood ? This is what I mean :
Where did you find this?, just want to make sure it's not fanmade.

I'd also say it's fan made, since I can't find anything official with Google and the like.
The resolution isn't very high, and anybody can just rip graphics and use them like that.
Like Maren said, a source would be nice. :)
Hmmm, their Mouth of War song (linked to MySpace site featuring) reminds me of Doom's E1M1 song,
(Apparently Doom 3 also borrows from other pieces.)

That's a misstake, that are the songs for DOOM 1 not Doom 3. You can
cleary hear that EM1 is indeed Metallica - No Remorse.
Doom 3 has music from Trent (Vocals , Nail Inch Nails)
for reference :

About the Pantera stuff, I was wondering the same.. But back a few years; a lot of High-res versions were floating around. And I even saw a poster of it (or it least I thought I did).
Now all I can find is the low-res version.

no the Doom 3 soundtrack was done by Clint Walsh and Chris Vrenna (ex-Nine Inch Nails drummer) after Trent Reznor dropped the project

yeah, my misstake. I forgot he dropped it..

Re: does anybody know the connection between Pantera and Blood ?
I'm all but certain that graphic is fan-made. The only thing Pantera and Blood share in common is that they are both awesome and, sadly both have been laid to rest. ;'( (RIP Dimebag).
@Retodon8 & 0xC0DE: Doom borrows riffs from a load of various metal songs. What I can name off the top of my head is: E1M1 - Metallica - No Remorse E1M4 - Pantera - Rise E3M1 - Pantera - Mouth For War E3M3 - Slayer - Behind The Crooked Cross
In Doom2: Map07, Map19 & Map29 - Slayer - South Of Heaven Map23 - Alice In Chains - Them Bones Map25 - Pantera - This Love

The link I posted a few posts up had them all :
E1M1 : Metallica - No Remorse E1M4 : Pantera - Rise E2M1 : AC/DC - Big Gun E2M2 : Metallica - Call of the Ktulu E2M3 : Pantera - Regular People E3M1 : Pantera - Mouth For War E3M3 : Slayer - Behind the Crooked Cross E3M8 : Slayer - Silent Scream
Map07 : Slayer - South of Heaven Map10 : Black Sabbath - After All (The Dead) Map18 : Pantera - This Love Map23 : Alice In Chains - Them Bones Map25 : Alice In Chains - Angry Chair

Hmmm, actually reading that now, you're obviously right, it's just mentioning Doom (1)'s songs. Silly of that site to get their wires crossed though.
As for the image, while browsing I happened upon this page on YTMND yesterday. It also features (a terribly compressed version of) the logo, but it doesn't really prove anything. Like I said, it's probably just a fan-made thing.
