Some old but gold SW maps i made ages ago
- Here are some very nice, large and detailed shadow warrior maps i made awhile ago, 2 set in hell, 1 in a city and 1 in a Jungle.
If your using the windows version you'll have to use 8-bit color cause i make good use of that fog lighting and you'll totally miss out
on all the atmosphere. The only reason i stopped mapping on these was because i run out of sectors or walls
Very challenging and still hold up graphically today somewhat :D

Wow, I'm playing through 50shellinhell right now, tough stuff (too bad it won't look that great in 32bit mode), when I'm done with the maps I'll probably post a review. Great job at first sight 8)- thanks ;D lots of things in these to keep you entertained, ever wondered how a tv station operates in hell?
the junge "You and Whose Army" is probably the hardest, all secrets contain a nuke though for good reason
so its good to have a search around :) - You should definitely take up mapping again, your work does not cease to amaze me 8)
Found a few cock-ups like ghost windows here and there but nothing major.
I'm currently getting my arse beat in "Tribute To Action" ;D - Looks flatter than an Euclidean line.
- Thanks, i'd love to get back into it was really hoping by now SWBUILD would be good and stable and have a full 8000+ sectors support otherwise i would
If it had 8000+ sector support i'd probably start extending the old maps, tweaking, adding more shadows and details to parts
Ahh waitin on duke4eva, hope it has a nice mix of city + rock and lava textures cause if it has iam so doing hell again :)
1024 sectors caps are a bitch, there is a fine balance on detail in massive maps. - By "flat" he probably means "it's not made of voxels", it shouldn't have anything to do with detail 8)
- Pablo
Picasso listened quietly. The man finally pulled a small snapshot out of his wallet and said, "Here is a [photorealistic] picture of my wife--this is what she really looks like." Picasso took the snapshot from the man, held it sideways, and peered at it for a long time. Finally he remarked, "Well, she is awfully small. And flat."
(emphasis added >:( >:()
No matter how much detail you put onto those surfaces, you can never hide the fact that they are flat. - Everything is flat on a monitor, just try reaching out for a piece of voxel ;)
- Yeah well done on these maps :)
I've always had these maps in my pack and just checking back, I marked the hell maps as good, the yawa map as excellent but the city map I gave a bad, not sure why as I see I did not even finish it so will go and check it out again. - Oh no the file has been removed :o
Now I will never be able to check out these levels :(
