Please use proper english when possible. Writing "ne" instead of "any" might save a byte, but it at the cost of 1 additional second of reading time for everyone who must read it. This is a poor tradeoff in my opinion.
KVX files are voxel sprites. You can use SLAB6 to view and edit them.
I had nothing to do with the design of SYM files. They look like extensions to the Build map format, which were written by Frank Maddin and/or Jim Norwood.

KVXs are voxels. SYM files are Shadow Warrior's savegame lookup tables. You may ignore them completely because their contents are useless to any port these days.
