hi, i found the map ROCH8 on the internet and must note that the whole map is outside the grid and so unreach/viewable.
only a smal sector is inside the grid which teleports the player to outside.
check it out: http://93.mos.at/roch8.map
how is it done? i think some hex editing but what?
can someone explain? a little how-to would be nice.
this feature would be usefull on create maps with secrets who no one can easily find by view the map in build. i want to do that on a multiplayer map for my next dukelan, we play something like catch-me-if-cou-can.. me, as map creator is the one who defends the map and my basis on it, and all other player try to kill me and to find my secret basis and the nuke button to "finisch" and finaly win the game. so it would be great if they cannot easily open the map in build and look there for the nuke button.
thanks for help :)

You can select the whole map with right Alt and drag it out of the grid... You won't be able to bring it back after de-selecting though...
there's a handmade proggy called LeBuild which has big enough grid to handle roach maps... It's very powerfull builder with auto-shadowing and batch sprites/textures operations - but the english version isn't out yet.
