Hey all, i've just been having a few problems with jfbuild recently, i'm sure these problems are already known and on a to-do list for a future release, but I may aswell post in the hopes of a resolution in the meantime.
Anyway, to get to the point, the main points at which the game crashes for me are in areas with more than 5 divided 3d skies, and areas where the colour palette on the sky/sprite has been changed.
The 3d skies problem doesnt always occur, strangely, but if a palette is changed anywhere, instant crash.
The palette problem is my only real concern, there are other problems i've noticed, might update when I get home and post what they were for refrence. But in the mean time, has anyone else go this palette colur problem / know of a fix?

If someone can send me a map demonstrating this I'll try to get it fixed before the release.

Ok, I have a map here with a section on the right side in the main arena that I know has a Blue colour palette assigned to it. If you load it up in build or duke, and try to enter the room, the moment even a single pixel of the changed palette shows, it just CTD's...

That map doesnt chrash anywhere in my Build or Duke???

No crash on my end. I notice you have parallaxing enabled on a sector ceiling that has the water texture. Any particular reason?

Parallaxing..you mean the 3d sky? I just put that there originally for the hell of it :P
I loaded the map up with another beta build editor, glbuild, and it loaded the map fine, I coudl look at the section that normally crashes with no problems. So I changed it back to a flat water texture, and loaded it up with jfbuild, worked perfectly...
It's also crashed in the same manner before with a moving lava texture applied toa sprite with a changed colour palette. In fact, anything with a changed colour palette just crashes upon viewing it. Nothing terribly big...but still a bit wierd :)
