Fatal Signal caught: SIGSEGV. Bailing out.
- Whenever my friend attempts to run Duke3D.exe or Build.exe the program starts up then quickly shuts down. In the consolelog.txt directly after the following line:
initcache(): Initialised with 33554432 bytes
it shows the error listed in the topic:
Fatal Signal caught: SIGSEGV. Bailing out.
and never gets to the point where it detects his video mode, it does however proceeed to unload all the DirectX components it did load up previously. Anyone have any idea why this would be happening? - Well I read another post about someone disconnecting their gamepad, and all of a sudden the game started to work. So I had my buddy unplug his, and sure enough, Duke started right up and ran fine... strange...
