I'm on GNU/Linux Debian.
I have a graphic card: NVIDIA GeForce 3 ti 200.
I have JFduke3d version 20050531.
I can't destroy enemies' body in game with my pistol or my boots. I must use the grenade launcher or others explosif weapons.
Maybe the problem come that I have a graphic bug. See the enemies body when I see them when I'm over:

These bugs are known?

OpenGL just causes it to do that and its very well known about it :wink:

You can't destroy or mutilate the corpse without explosive weapons like the RPG. That's how the game was originally designed back then. This is not like the modern FPS games of today.
As for that pic, that's not a bug. Enemies and certain sprites were originally designed in 2D, and always faced you now matter what angle you were looking at. With the OpenGL mode in the new JfDuke, you can actually look up and down for real this time, and so enemies look flat when you look up at or down on them at extreme angles.
Something tells me you've never played Duke 3D in its original form.

I had the playstation and n64 version of Duke3d and I'm remember that I could destroy ennemies body with the gun and the boots.
How to win a level in "Danm I'm good" with 100% kills if we are the PC version? We must to have a lot of rocket...It's impossible...
