Just when you thought I might have been slacking and wasting time, I've released updates for JFDuke3D and JFShadowWarrior (and the JFBuild engine). On the outset I admit not a lot has changed visually aside from Ken's new OpenGL voxel rendering code and 2D map, but JFShadowWarrior has had crash bugs fixed, savegames should not fail from missing symbols as all the reported ones should now be corrected, and for the first time, you can play peer-to-peer multiplayer (master-slave is broken at present, so I've disabled it). JFDuke3D has mainly gained engine-related improvements, but one feature worth noting is the pre-level precache is far more thorough, so mid-level pauses from textures loading should be far less frequent.
In my defence at appearing to have done little, a lot of my time has been going into updating the engine to support big-endian processors like the G4/G5 which Macintoshes use, and also my JFAud sound code, which I've begun integrating with the JFShadowWarrior port. Fairly soon I hope to have a test version of JFSW with JFAud included.
Anyway, have a play and let me know of problems you discover.
Jonathon
PS. Some of you may have been playing ProAsm's SWP project and TerminX's Eduke32, both of which have featured many (all?) of the features and fixes these ports contain, but these releases finally give you the code with the JF&KS seal of approval.

In my infinite wisdom I forgot to replace the multiplayer documentation in the JFShadowWarrior release notes. The copy on my site has been fixed, so refer to that copy if you need to.

Nice one JF, now we have some a solid reference again.

Tested out some Peer 2 Peer multiplayer! Worked great!
Thanks very much again.

A little late, but... thanks!
The new version is working quite nicely, no more pain-sounds-for-roaming-sounds either.
I should free some time so I can actually start playing through SW again (and complete WD for the first time).
Hmmm, and do the same for Duke Nukem 3D as well now that I mention it.
Looking forward to convince some friends to try some multiplayer. :)

Thank you, you're teh man JonoF!
It's really great to play SW in multiplayer again, after this long time without it :)

Hello!
I know, this might not be high-priority, but it would be nice, to be able to load user maps from within JFbuild by using either the console or an in-game-menue.
Also; Is it possible, to use *.def-files with JFbuild?
Greetings
Funduke
Edit:
Before i forget It.
Many thanks for the latest version of all three ports!
