Actually I have two another additional questions for current jfDuke release.
What is the SynCor.exe process spawned by jfDuke?
Another thing is chopiness, at 1280x1024@32bit even when FRAPS and DNRATE report above 60 fps, moving and turning (I' am using mouselook) seems somewhat choppy, like having 12 FPS. Even when FPS rate stays the same during game chopiness increases in certain areas of maps. Why is that?

According to my searching, it's the software component of the MIDI device in your computer: http://www.neuber.com/taskmanager/process/syncor.exe.html

#1. Check that your vsync isn't forced off in your video card's properties panel.
#2. Check that your mouse/driver doesn't suck.

Another dumb questions
First, thank you for the info about my sound card :).
About the choppiness, forcing driver Vsync of did it, seems that on setup vsync setting from jfDuke video menu is ignored.
