I put a simple pop up chat window on Sw-Central , in hopes people would use it as a means to organize Multiplayer Sw games . I thought something like this would be useful for A- shortcutting the problem of having the same chat program (ie. AIM , Messenger , ICQ) and B- Getting new people in on the sw action ... thats all , thanks
BTW- the chat program that has become popular for sw players I guess ..? .. is AIM , so I downloaded it .. name name is Sw Robman if you want a game

I personally only use Xfire these days, which seems like the best IM software for gamers right now.
(ICQ originally, MSN after that, the only thing anybody uses over here anymore it seems, I don't think I even know anybody who uses AIM or Yahoo!.)
If enough people asked maybe they'd able to make it so that it supports the so called "In-Game" feature, basically meaning you can keep chatting while playing the game.
Anyway, I don't play SW online, and I don't work for the Xfire people, but I figured I'd mention it in case somebody didn't know it yet.

Best way to get rid of dependency on specific program is to use some multiprotocol IM client. I use Miranda and Gaim.
