Hi, i unzipped jonoF's Duke 3D port to my PC, and downloaded the light zipped version of the HRP to my pc.i unzipped the HRP to my DN3d folder, and i cant figure out how to make it work. any thoughts?

Ok, ive looked in my Duke3d folder, and i found out i need a def.con file. where can i get it?

Make a shorcut to duke3d.exe and add /gduke3d_hrp.zip /gmaphacks.zip after duke3d.exe
then just run with the shortcut to use the hrp.
Edit: there is no need for a def.con. if you meant defs.con/game.con/user.con that means it can't find the grp file that comes with duke3d.

I tried /duke3d_hrp.zip /maphacks.zip, as that is the name of my zip files, which didnt work in the shortcut. i have my video mode set to OpenGL polymost at 1280x1024, so it should work, right? what am i doing wrong/missing?

wow, jon replied! not worthy! :shock: I tried putting g(zipfilename).zip on the shortcut names, but it still doesnt go 3D. i have both zip files in the same directory as JFDuke3D, so what's wrong?

Do you have the file called "duke3d.grp" in your JFDUKE Directory?

While you may have the file, you obviously don't have it in the same directory as duke3d.exe.
