I have downloaded everything from jonof's page and installed it with the shareware version of duke3d.
I can play it now, but it looks exactly like the original game, so there is no opengl support yet.
What do I need? eduke? will it work then?
I could not find the renderer alone so is it only available together with eduke?

EDuke32 is a version of JFDuke3D aimed at offering far more features suited for modification of the game (creation of total conversions and mods). The bit OpenGL "Polymost" renderer can be accessed in both JFDuke3D and EDuke32 by entering the video options menu and selecting either the 16 or 32 bit renderer.

If you're using HRP, you need extract duke3d_hrp.zip to duke nukem folder or create shortcut to duuke3d.exe and write in target field "/gduke3d_hrp.zip". If you have got only "pigcop.md2" in folder named "models", open releasenotes.html, find 3d models example, copy it, paste to new text document and save it as duke3d.def. But there will be only pigcop modeled.
