hi there, I have installed Shadow Warrior via the CD Setup, and replaced all files required with JonoF's Shadow Warrior Port. Now everything works fine, after setting it up in setup, sound, keys, no glitches etc. Only the music, that I really like, is missing :(
I have the original CD, but it just doesn't play the music...
I tried both Music Driver settings, neither does that work.
Am I missing an option somewhere, or is this really not do-able ;_;

Can you hear the music using a regular player?.

I don't know where the music is put in.
I thought it was packed in one of the .cab's?
I could only locate a few midi's in H:\goodies\midi
But that's not the music used ingame.

Thanks for your time :D

Um.. he's asking about whether or not you can play the CD tracks, because SW uses CD tracks for music, not midi.

I smell eMule piracy , whatever, any original CD should be giving you this:
What folder is that btw, where your music is listed...
I still can't find it in my CD's directory... x_x

If you can't hear a thing when trying that CD on your stereo, there's no music.

But that can't be.
It's a RETAIL edition.
In the past when I used to have a Pentium III running on Windows 98, music worked.
Now, using WinXP and JonoF's port music no longer works... x_x
Btw, it has music.
You were right, I can play it in a CD-Player, even winamp works... just doesn't work ingame:

Is there maybe something wrong with my sound drivers? I'm using SoundMAX 4.0 right now =x

JFSW didn't support CD music yet, AFAIK.

I suggest you check your facts before posting inaccurate information again. :P

I said AFAIK >_>

I suppose his point was that, stating something different than was already expected/known by the person asking the question, without making sure you're right, only adds confusement, unless of course you happen to be right..
Oh well, no harm done. :)
