i read the FAQ and other stuff, but havent seen any documentation on this. the problem is, the sky is like only half of the sky texture? its like cut in half. is this a known problem? is there a way to fix this? any help is appreciated. thanks.

In the original game you can't really look up or down, so a relatively smal (height-wize) sky texture is enough to cover anything the you can see.
This versions lets you look up and down a bit more, so it's possible to see the texture does end at both the bottom and the top.
I think you do see the complete texture, not just part, but correct me if I'm wrong.
DoomGL fixes basically the same problem by stretching the sky image (if I'm not mistaken).

u are a 110% correct. heh, thanks for actually responding! but yeah i read the same thing about doom and it DOES have that stretch option, which is REALLY cool. i hope they add that option in the new release. that and the known glitches(remote control car and water portal) are my ONLY complaints, its seriously almost flawless!! i DO however also have constant audio pops and things of that nature which i dont understand, but i cant complain. im just thrilled this even exists at all. keep up the great work jonof!
