I am able to install and run Duke Nuclear Winter with JFDuke. However, I keep noticing weird graphical glitches. For instance, at the beginning of level 2 I should see a truck parked outside and some Christmas carolers. These show up fine if I play the game in DOS. In XP with JFDuke, let's just say they're not there. I don't quite know how to describe it - in their place is some weird portal to an alternate dimension!
Anybody else experience this?
One more question - does the high resolution pack work with any addons, TCs, maps, etc?
Thanks!

Could you make a screenshot of the scene, and upload it somewhere?
If possible, a screenshot of the 2D map in Build would help as well.
I suspect it's a HOM (hall of mirrors) bug or something like that JFDuke happens renders differently than the original game.
JFDuke should be superior with it's rendering engine, so this probably can't be fixed, unless the map is changed.
I'm not a programmer though, and I don't have Nuclear Winter so I can check. :(
If those TCs &c. use custom graphics, I doubt it, as finishing textures for the original game is probably a priority.
I haven't tried the HRP yet, but I think it should upgrade everything it can, and leave the rest low res, as it was.
I'm sure this is in the documentation somewhere.

Thanks for the reply. I unfortunately can't post a screenshot but "hall of mirrors" sounds like a good description. It sort of reminds me of when you use the clipping cheat in the original Doom, and you go beyond the actual map of the game. When you reach the edge everything becomes psychidelic and looks like hundreds of mirrors. That's how this looks in Nuclear Winter.
Since it's only in level 2 I figured someone surely has gotten this far. Would be curious to know if other people see the parked truck and Christmas carolers with no problem.
