What is the best or from who you can get the best advantages? I only know that OpenGL's API is superior the one in Direct3D in the matter of code understanding. I also know that OpenGL is multi platform (the biggest number of OS's) and that OpenGL doesn't let the user know if some capability is supported by the current hardware or not (and if not it switches on software rendering).
I make a mistake when I'm saying that SDL library supports both of them now?
