EDIT If someone with a fast computer could record an in-game video of Rearview and upload it to, say, YouTube, I would be very thankful :-* :P I am too dumb to install the demo myself, so you will have to try the game out for me :P
EDIT Also, I want raytracing in Voxlap :P

Re: Realtime Raytracing Voxel Engine
I was able to run the demo. I would have been impressed if it wasn't for the following: 1. The backgrounds in those screenshots are actually static skyboxes. 2. At the default small window size, it gets a whopping 4-5fps. I am using a Core 2 Quad 2.66Ghz. 3. Everything is blurred to hell.

Hehe, totally agree ;D
I have an 8800GTS and got the same framerate - now I'm sure its not only my hardware. But in general its desirable development to see more GPU Voxel raycast engines.
Another technology is this one here, most lower demo http://www-is.meijo-u.ac.jp/~tanaka/gallery.html Unfortunately its only a short clip - but I saw the presentation. It renders particles on the GPU and creates a kind of hull around the particles on the fly. Maybe a similar technique as the water from the NVidia Demo here: http://graphics.cs.uiuc.edu/svn/kcrane/web/projects.html Another interesting iso-surface raycaster is this one http://www.gamedev.net/community/forums/topic.asp?topic_id=469773
