I hadn't used Slab6 in a while and didn't notice the new GUI; kudos to you :)
Anyhow, it would be nice if I could work with my very own set of keys, mouse clicks and wheel. Any chance you could make Slab6 more customizable in this regard?
Also, would you consider integrating POLY2VOX into Slab6?, that would be quite handy actually.
Thanks.

Re: Suggestions for Slab6
Those are good suggestions. I will add "user-defined controls" and "integrate poly2vox" to my slab6 'todo' list. Unfortunately, I don't expect to get around to it anytime soon. Of course you could always make the source code changes yourself.

Just one more suggestion. How about an option for sorting out palettes?, say I just imported a 8bit color image into Slab6, it's kind of tricky to find the right colors in a mess like this:

Hmm, today I was trying to voxelize a regular sprite and began to realize how clumsy the process was.
How about a new way to start project where you can manually specify a voxel's X, Y and Z dimensions (from 1 voxel to the max allowed by slab6) instead of just the sphere? The image pasting would become more efficient (a 64x64 sprite could be pasted onto a 64x64 voxel, saving you editing time if you want the voxel to be exactly the size of the image) while giving the user the opportunity to begin carving without having to deal with the 3D slection-resizing-filling process.
Also, is there a way to get a bigger "brush" for the 2D slice editor?

Yes, we have to voxelize all the Doom/Wolf3D/Duke3D sprites! :o
I also want 32-bit colors! :o
We have to create a voxel forum community so that our voice will be heard :o We should make it a religion like Scientology, but we will call it Voxelology! :D :o
Where the hell is everybody?? ??? The game industry has indoctrinated all the programmers to hate the voxel and love the poly :(
DEATH TO POLYS!! >:(

Don't count me in, I'm thru with mods, I think it's about time people start working on something fresh. As a matter of facts, this sprite and 4 others were actually created by me from scratch in DPaint and thought they would look cool as voxels.

256 colours still do it for me. I like working with this particular limitation. Keep it simple :)
