Sometime ago I suggested to add MNG animation support to PNGOutWin. Due to the small usage of it, and the complexity of its implementation, it was discarded. Nowadays, the APNG format, which is easy to implement, since is based on raw MNG, is being adopted by browsers like Opera and Firefox, so it would be nice to add support to APNG optimization on PNGOutwin.

That kinda sounds like PNGOUTWin would have to acquire the abilty to re-assemble the APNG once every frame has been processed separatedly.

I don't like APNG very much since every frame is compressed separately and cannot reused. This makes efficiency pretty low.
