I'd PM you but seems i can't. also no email address provided to reach you at. Firstly - great job on the SWP port. I absolutely love it. Thanks to you and jonof SW is back in a great way.
I have noticed that even on today's fast PCs that vsync still adds a bit of video lag to the game. When I disable vsync once in SWP version 4.31 it doesn't truly go off. I have to turn it of twice in order for it to work. Additionally, when I close out of the game and open it up again I have to disable vsync again. The setting doesn't take.
I have an i7 920 proc and a gtx 285, but this game still video lags when vsync is on. Is there a way we can have vysnc settings saved so we don't have to disable it twice every time we start up a game? please post here and feel free to email me also at: etarusori@gmail.com
thx!

Re: Vertical Sync - Disabling x2
Hi dro, strange how some things happens on some pc's and not others, get it all the time :) I have tried disabling/enabling the vsync on all 3 my pc's (win7, xp sp2, xp sp3) and it works everytime without a hitch. The game writes to the SWP.cfg file, just check what it says there as you'll see if it wrote it or not:
GLVSync =
It will either be 0 or 1.

Maybe accidentally he enabled v-sync in driver, thus v-sync is forced.
Better check the OpenGL settings of GeForce drivers. Use RivaTuner if you cannot find the option.

Yeah good point, I forgot about that.

On later drivers, the nVidia control panel is completely broken for 3d options. I have to use either RivaTuner or nHancer to change them.
