So for the first time in many years, I revisited Ken's Labyrinth. I had no idea that the game could be run on modern machines, as I never figured anyone would port the engine to modern versions of Windows. I first played the game when I was younger (back in 1996 or so, when I was 12 and had just gotten a CD-ROM drive for my PC, and I had a CD with the game's demo on it).
Flash-forward about 15 years and now I'm a programmer myself, with a masters degree. Out of college and working in the medical industry. But on the side my love and passion is game programming. I was cleaning out a closet full of old PC games and came across the CD-ROM with the game on it. I wanted to fire the game up again for nostalgia's sake and that's when I discovered a port of the engine that works on modern OSes. Since your name was so prominent in the game, Ken, I decided to look online to see where you were 15 years later in your programming. I had no idea you were involved in so many other famous projects. Kudos!
At any rate, this is my first post on the forums, and I signed up more or less to thank you for Ken's Labyrinth, and providing a lot of memories and sleepless nights playing the game so many years ago. It was great to fire it up again after all these years and relive all those levels all over again.
While I'm on the post though, I'd also like to ask what you think about mobile platforms these days, since they've become so prevalent. I have an Android phone myself, and that's the platform I focus on, but I know many friends that work the iPhone platform, and a few on Windows Phone 7. As a programmer I was just interested in your thoughts on the subject!
