Ken, you wouldn't happen to have a .exe that reverses the compression of the .KZP to dat files would you?

Unless you deleted something by accident, KLABKIT.ZIP should have everything you need. It includes the decompressed files: WALLS.DAT, BOARDS.DAT, STORY.DAT as well as decompression utilities for SONGS.KZP and SOUNDS.KZP.
I do have a decompressor for WALLS.KZP -> WALLS.DAT called "VMS.C". The reason I didn't bother to release it is because I included WALLS.DAT with KLABKIT.ZIP, so as long as you don't modify and then delete WALLS.DAT by accident, you would never need it. Unfortunately, I do not have a decompressor for BOARDS.KZP -> BOARDS.DAT, or STORY.KZP -> STORY.DAT. Probably, I never deleted the source files by accident, so I never needed such a utility : P

I have updated KLABKIT.ZIP with a universal decompression program (KZP2DAT) that extracts all KZP formats. Thanks to KZP2DAT, I have omitted the following files (which are no longer necessary to distribute with the kit): WALLS.DAT, BOARDS.DAT, STORY.DAT, SNDSPLIT.*, and SONGSPLT.*.
