I want to try to, at first, tto make a game/sim using only Voxlap and then go from there.
Can I use a 250meg map to get a higher resoultion for voxlap, something decent enough to be sharp enough to get up close to? Maybe even 500megs. I am willing to require at least 512 megs of RAM to play.
Also they are producing low cost flash ram now and it's pretty soon that all will have much cheap ram on their comps.
Are their any games uisng Voxlap ATM that I can check out or am I the first here?

What do you mean by higher resolution? Do you mean the map size of 1024 by 1024 by 255 (or 256 whatever)? I believe it was mentioned a few months back that the limit was hardcoded into the engine and would take more than just a simple variable change to increase or decrease it. ;)

I am not sure how it all totally works but I mean, not a larger map, map density like more voxals per area. to get a sharper image up close. Is that how it works?
It's not too bad up close but wondering if I could add more voxels into memory to make it sharper.
